FFP Celebrates Chattanooga, Tennessee with a Grand Opening Event!

Fitz’s Fish Ponds (FFP) proudly celebrated the grand opening of its Chattanooga, Tennessee retail location on April 4–5, 2025. This event marked a significant milestone in FFP's expansion, bringing our renowned expertise in koi and pond care to the southeastern United States.
A Warm Welcome to Chattanooga
Located at 2314 Bliss Avenue, the new FFP store is a revitalized version of the former Aquanooga, a cherished local pond supply shop. Under the leadership of Tom Swinarsky, who has successfully opened multiple FFP locations, and Bryson Foss, the former Aquanooga front-end manager now serving as FFP Chattanooga’s store manager, the team transformed the space into a vibrant hub for pond enthusiasts. Their efforts were supported by Jan Mizak and John Cameron, who ensured a seamless setup and inventory transition .

With the successful launch of the Chattanooga location, FFP continues to build on its mission to bring beauty and serenity to backyards through expert pond construction, maintenance, and high-quality koi. The grand opening was a two-day celebration of koi, ponds, and community. A highlight of the event was the presence of Kosuke Saito from Japan's esteemed Shintaro Koi Farm. Kosuke's attendance underscored FFP's commitment to providing high-quality Japanese koi and offered attendees a unique opportunity to learn from a master breeder.
